Full of natural sweetness and goodness, raisin concentrate makes an ideal ingredient in the manufacture of baked goods, dairy and confectionery items, and can also be used in smoothies and juices.
It’s packed with delicious flavour, natural colour and no shortage of great nutritional benefits – with raisins high in many essential vitamins and minerals.
Raisin concentrate is available from Kiril Mischeff at X° Brix, in a wide range of pack sizes to suit your needs.
How is raisin concentrate made?
To make raisin concentrate, we extract the juice from the fruit and then evaporate off a significant proportion of the liquid – leaving a thick and condensed solution far stronger than regular raisin juice.
Due to its lower volume, this solution is easier to transport and store than a regular juice – and water can always be re-added later to restore it to standard juice strength.
Alternatively, the raisin concentrate can be used in its strengthened state, to bring rich, sweet flavour to a wide range of food and drink applications.
