Kiril Mischeff Celebrates First Food Waste Reduction Roadmap Submission
Strengthening Our Commitment to Sustainability and Responsible Resource Management
Kiril Mischeff is proud to announce the successful completion of its first annual submission to the UK’s Food Waste Reduction Roadmap, marking an important milestone in the company’s ongoing sustainability journey.
Having become a signatory to the initiative in late 2025, Kiril Mischeff has joined a growing number of businesses across the food and drink sector committed to measuring, reporting, and reducing food waste throughout their operations. The voluntary programme encourages organisations to track food waste annually and identify opportunities for continuous improvement year after year.
Food waste remains one of the most significant challenges facing the global food industry, with environmental, social, and economic impacts across the supply chain. By actively measuring waste and identifying reduction opportunities, businesses can play a vital role in creating a more sustainable food system.
Commenting on the milestone, Kiril Mischeff said:
“Submitting our first Food Waste Reduction Roadmap report is an important step in our sustainability journey. While this is just the beginning, it demonstrates our commitment to understanding our environmental impact and continuously improving the way we operate.”
As a leading supplier of frozen, ambient, chilled, and specialist food ingredients, we continue to work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to minimise waste, maximise resource efficiency, and support more sustainable food production.
Kiril Mischeff look forward to building on this foundation in the years ahead and contributing to industry-wide efforts to reduce food waste across the UK food and drink sector.
