Kiril Mischeff is a leading supplier of apple juice concentrate to the drinks industry, offering both a clear apple concentrate at 70° Brix or a more natural, cloudy apple concentrate at 40° Brix.
Our apple concentrate can be prepared from culinary/sweet apples or from beautiful bittersweet varieties sourced in Normandy – ideal for cider makers with their sharp, high-acidity profile.
We can produce apple juice concentrate from a single variety of apple or from a blend of multiple types, with baby food and organic certified apple juice concentrate also available.
What is Apple Concentrate?
Initially juiced in the same manner as our NFC apple juice, apple concentrate is then heated so that the liquid evaporates, leaving a condensed solution six times the strength of a juice.
This condensed solution can then be transported more easily or in larger quantities, before the water is re-added at the manufacturer’s end to bring it back to juice form.
It’s an ideal ingredient for juice, drink and cider makers, and despite the extra processing, retains much of the nutritional value of the apples.

Why choose apple juice concentrate?
An affordable and versatile alternative to NFC apple juice, apple juice concentrate is a great option for food and drink manufacturers who want to be able to label their product as containing ‘real fruit juice’.
It’s more processed than NFC apple juice, but remains free of additives and preservatives, and contains much the same nutritional profile as an NFC juice.
Given its natural sweetness, apple juice concentrate can also serve as a sweetening ingredient, instead of using sugar.
Is apple juice concentrate less healthy than NFC apple juice?
It’s a popular misconception that apple juice concentrate is somehow less healthy than its NFC counterpart. In its reconstituted state (unless any sugar or preservatives is added), apple juice from concentrate is just as healthy.
Of course, it should be remembered that all fruit juices contain naturally occurring sugar and can therefore be higher in calories than one might expect.
Why buy apple juice concentrate in bulk?
Apple juice concentrate is a great product to buy in bulk, as it’s easy to move around and store in large quantities. Because the water content has been removed from the juice when you receive it, it’s stored in far smaller volume than an NFC juice, until you add the water back in during the creation of your end product.
