How is cherry aroma made?
When cherry juice concentrate is made, vapours rise from the juice as it is heated. These vapours are captured as steam and then returned to liquid, resulting in cherry aroma. The cherry aroma itself is then concentrated, to intensify the strength of the scent.
A great ingredient for drinks manufacturers, it can be used in juices, smoothies, cordials or flavoured alcoholic drinks – but it’s also used to bring distinctive cherry scents to soaps, cosmetics and home fragrances.

What is 150 fold cherry aroma?
Whilst our purees and juices are measured in Brix, aromas are measured in fold. Fold is a ratio that measures how much fruit has been used to produce the aroma.
Our cherry aroma is 150 fold, which means that 150g of cherries go into 1g of aroma. With such a high fold ratio, it is not surprising that our aroma has such an intense scent and flavour.
