FAQ

Where to buy elderberry juice concentrate in bulk?

Kiril Mischeff are proud to be leading suppliers of wholesale fruit concentrates to the food and drinks manufacturing industry. Given that the water content has been removed from this elderberry juice, it is a great product to buy in bulk. Thanks to the smaller volume, you can buy it in larger quantities and easily transport it if needed.

Instead of wasting storage space with large volumes of water, you can add the water back in during the production of your end product.

Elderberry juice concentrate is an affordable alternative to NFC elderberry juice. If you are a food or drink manufacturer looking to label your product as containing ‘real fruit juice’, this is a great option.

From 25kg bags to 265kg drums, our elderberry juice concentrate is available in a variety of formats to best suit your business needs, be it industrial, foodservice or retail.

What is the difference between concentrate and not from concentrate elderberry juice?

Elderberry juice concentrate is made by pressing fresh elderberries and juicing them. This juice is then heated up so that the liquid evaporates. This leaves less water, but all the flavour of the berries in a concentrated liquid. The water can then simply be readded during production of your end product.

On the other hand, NFC juices are produced without any water removal, resulting in a less processed juice. They normally have a shorter shelf life and take up more volume in terms of storage.

Many people assume that concentrate juice is less healthy than NFC juice, but the truth is that they both manage to retain similar nutritional values. NFC juice is just slightly less processed as it is not heated up to remove the water.

What is elderberry juice good for?

Besides its sweet flavour and great nutritional profile, did you know that elderberry juice is most used in food manufacturing due to its strong, purple pigment? It is a simple and natural way to bring a beautiful deep red to purple colour to food and drink products.

Elderberry juice is a great addition to smoothies and juices but is also used for a variety of other products in the food and drinks manufacturing industry, such as jams, sauces, syrups and even liqueurs.

Elderberry juice benefits
