Mango juice concentrate is available from Kiril Mischeff with a sugar content value of 65° Brix.
It’s made by juicing the flesh of the mango, then heating the juice to evaporate a proportion of the fruit’s water content. This leaves a condensed, concentrated mixture around six times stronger than a standard juice, which can later be brought back to single-state strength by re-adding the water during processing.
Why choose mango concentrate?
Lower in volume than an an NFC juice, mango concentrate can be more cost-effective to transport and store in bulk. And, despite the extra processing compared to an NFC mango juice, it still retains natural mango flavour and much of the fruit’s nutritional goodness.
This makes it a popular choice for food and drink manufacturers, who can use mango concentrate in a wide range of juices, desserts, smoothies, baked goods and many more applications.
