What is orange juice concentrate?
Orange juice concentrate is essentially natural orange juice with a significant amount of the water content removed. Six times stronger than a regular juice, it’s also much smaller in volume, making it more convenient and cost-effective to transport.
Once it reaches its final processing destination, the water can be re-added to bring the orange juice back to its regular strength.
Despite this additional processing, orange juice from concentrate still retains much of the fruit’s impressive nutritional profile, as well as its distinct flavour and colouring.
