Peach Aroma
A colourless liquid full of intense peach scent and flavour, peach aroma is a by-product of the concentration process.
It’s used by drinks manufacturers to add delicious peach notes to fruit juices and squashes, but can also be used to bring sweet peach fragrance to cosmetics, soaps and body washes.
Measured in ‘Fold’ rather than Brix, peach aroma is typically available from Kiril Mischeff at 150 fold.
How is peach aroma made?
During the process that makes peach concentrate, vapours rise from the juice as it is heated. These vapours are captured as steam and then returned to liquid, resulting in peach aroma.
The peach aroma itself is then concentrated, to intensify the strength of the scent and flavour.
