Why choose plum concentrate?
Plum concentrate is made by heating the plum juice to evaporate much of the fruit’s water content, leaving a solution much stronger yet smaller in volume than an NFC juice.
Concentrate is therefore more convenient and cost-effective for manufacturers to transport, and it can be restored to regular strength by adding water once the final processing destination is reached.
Juices made from plum concentrate therefore do undergo more processing than an NFC plum juice, but still contain a good amount of the fruit’s raw nutritional benefits as well as that delicious plum flavour.

What is plum juice concentrate?
Plum juice concentrate is a condensed form of plum juice, made by removing the water content from fresh plum juice. The concentrate is rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, potassium and fibre. Plum juice concentrate is considered healthy because it is packed with nutrients and has no added sugars or preservatives. The concentrate is vegan-friendly because it is made from only plums and contains no animal products.
What are the different ways to use plum juice concentrate?
Plum juice concentrate can be used to make juice, smoothies, jams, jellies, sauces, dressings and marinades. It can be used as a natural sweetener in baked goods, desserts and other recipes. Plum juice concentrate can be used as a mixer in cocktails and ‘mocktails’ for a unique and flavourful twist.
Plum juice concentrate from Kiril Mischeff
Kiril Mischeff offers plum juice concentrate in a 64° to 66° Brix concentration. Abundant in minerals, this concentrate provides a nutritious way to add flavour and colour to a broad range of food and drink products. The process of heating plum juice to remove much of its water content leaves a solution that is stronger and smaller in volume than NFC (Not From Concentrate) juice. As a result, our concentrate is more practical and cost-effective to transport for manufacturers, as it can be easily restored to normal strength by adding water. Juices made from plum concentrate offer a substantial amount of the fruit’s raw nutritional benefits, as well as its signature plum flavour. Plum juice concentrate is available in two formats: a 20kg bag in a box or a 250kg drum.
