What is Pomegranate Concentrate?
Pomegranate juice concentrate is made by heating the juice to evaporate a large proportion of the water content. The result is a thick, condensed solution significantly stronger than a regular juice, and much smaller in volume.
The pomegranate concentrate can be used in its strengthened state, or returned to a juice by re-adding the water after it’s been transported to its final processing destination.

Should I buy pomegranate juice from concentrate or NFC?
Pomegranate juice concentrate is made with freshly harvested pomegranates sourced from Turkey, from a region known as the Pomegranate Valley. They are then pressed, juiced and heated, so that the liquid evaporates leaving all the flavour in a solution that is 6 times thicker and takes up less volume, whilst retaining all the sharp, sweet flavour.
In comparison, NFC pomegranate juice is produced without any water removal, resulting in a less processed juice with a shorter shelf life.
