What is raspberry concentrate?
Raspberry concentrate is made by heating fresh raspberry juice to remove a significant proportion of the fruit’s water content. This creates a condensed, concentrated product, around six times the strength of a regular juice.
Significantly smaller in volume, the raspberry juice concentrate can then be transported easily and cost-effectively, before being brought back to regular strength by re-adding the water at the final processing point.
Despite this processing, our raspberry concentrate retains all the natural colour and flavour of the raspberry, as well as much of the fruit’s natural goodness. Indeed, raspberry is an excellent source of vitamin C, manganese and dietary fibre, and so helps to add an excellent nutritional profile to your end product.
