Available from Kiril Mischeff in 11° – 13° Brix, apricot puree is a smooth, thick and largely unprocessed ingredient that offers great versatility and real depth of flavour to food and drink manufacturers.
It’s ideal for use in smoothies, juices, bakery products, breakfast bars and baby food, and can be supplied for use in products with organic certification.
How is apricot puree made?
We source our apricot purees from growers in Greece and Spain, countries with an ideal climate for growing sweet, juicy apricots.
Once harvested, the fruits are gently heated until they break down, before the reduced fruit is then sieved for a wonderfully smooth end product. With such little processing, the puree retains the natural colour, flavour and nutritional value of the apricot.
