Brix is the industry standard measurement for working out the sugar content of a fruit juice or puree. For example, a juice with 1° Brix has 1 gram of sugar per 100 grams, and a juice with 65° Brix has 65 grams of sugar per 100 grams.
Therefore, we use Brix can be used as an indication of sugar levels, and how sweet the product might taste. At Kiril Mischeff, we supply NFC lemon juice to the food and drinks manufacturing industry at 7° Brix, which makes it a great low sugar option.
