How is quince puree made?
Quince puree is made simply by heating the peeled fruit to break down insoluble fibres, then pushing the softened quince through a fine sieve.
The result is a thick, smooth puree, full of the fruit’s natural flavour, aroma and nutritional value – with quince notably full of fibre, antioxidants and vitamins, as well as essential minerals such as copper and potassium.
