Banana juice concentrate is available from Kiril Mischeff at 65° Brix. Full of natural sweet flavour as well as much of the nutritional value of the fruit, it’s a versatile and great-tasting ingredient for juice drinks and smoothies.

How is banana concentrate made?
Once the bananas are harvested, they are pressed and juiced – before that juice is heated to evaporate off the liquid. This leaves a thick, condensed solution six times the strength of an NFC banana juice.
Easier to transport in large quantity, the concentrated banana juice then has the water re-added at the manufacturer’s end to restore its natural strength.

Banana juice concentrate is made with freshly harvested bananas that are pressed and juiced. This juice is then heated, so that the liquid evaporates leaving all the flavour in a solution that is 6 times thicker and takes up less volume.
In comparison, NFC banana juice is produced without any water removal, resulting in a less processed juice with a shorter shelf life.
